The Saga Of Tanya The Evil – Synopsis
At the moment of being assassinated by a displeased subservient whom he had fired, a vulnerable atheist Japanese executive is met with a deity that claims to be “God” and dooms him for not having “devotion”. Being an atheist, the salaryman does not believe in anything that the deity claims, critiques its statements, and mocks it by acknowledging it as “Being X”. After this, the deity condemns him to a world where he will be confronted with many encounters to persuade him into asking “Being X” for assistance.
The salaryman is reincarnated in an alternate dimension known as “the Empire”, which is similar to Imperial Germany. He is resurrected as an orphan girl, Tanya Degurechaff. As per the deity, if Tanya Degurechaff’s demise does not occur due to a natural cause or if she denies believing in “God’s” existence, she will be condemned to hell for the rest of eternity as a consequence of her sins in the previous existence.
While searching to escape the alternate dimension, Tanya Degurechaff ends up becoming a part of the Empire’s Mage Corps to fight in the war with the hopes of attaining a rank that would keep her as far away from the frontiers as possible. Soon after, Tanya Degurechaff turns into a merciless soldier whose career comes before anything or anyone else.
