You have just placed an order of your favorite dish from a Chick-fil-A restaurant. Having registered for Chick-fil-A membership recently, you’re an ordinary member. But wait! Did you just forget to get to scan the QR code on your Chick-fil-A One when you ordered? You so badly need these points to help in scaling your membership tier. Can you scan the Chick-fil-A One App after you order? You ask.
Chick-fil-A One refers to a tiered membership plan for Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s loyal customers. It enables such customers to earn points whenever they make a purchase at Chick-fil-A, Inc. The customers become members by creating accounts online or through the Chick-fil-A App. In other words, you can become a member of signing up for an account on the company’s website or downloading the App from the Google Play store or the App Store. Participating in this program is subject to the company’s membership terms and conditions.
To receive points as a Chick-fil-A member, you place an order via the company’s app, scan the QR code in the drive-thru or at the register, an online order. You earn points by making purchases on the platform. You can use such points to redeem rewards of your liking, as long as they are available at the time. With each purchase, you get closer to the next tier with increasing benefits. It is absolutely free to join, and everyone is eligible to create an account and participate.
If you forget to scan your QR code for the Chick-fil-A One program, you can request credit for that transaction within seven days. That means you can request credit for all missing transactions as long as they are not older than seven days from the date of purchase. This date is usually shown on your receipt. All you need to do is go to one.chick-fil-a.com/forgot to scan, then to your transaction history and top on Submit a missed transaction. You will then be prompted to enter your receipt details in the app. You then submit this request and wait for a response.
How it Works
As earlier mentioned, you earn points with every purchase you make on Chick-fil-A. You earn more points per every dollar you spend as you reach new membership tiers. You get awarded points based on your current tier status and the total purchases prior to tax.
You can use your points to redeem any available rewards or you can choose to save your points to redeem later. You will find a list of all available rewards and the number of points you need to redeem them through your member’s online profile or on the app.
In addition, you can now use your Chick-fil-A One account to earn points for your online catering orders. You may also get surprise rewards from your local Chick-fil-A restaurant. Your annual expenditure will determine your status. There are currently three membership tiers namely: Ordinary Member, Silver Member, and Red Member.
An Ordinary Member is one who is new to the platform or earns less than 1000 points a year. To qualify for Silver Membership, you must earn 1000 points and more. Similarly, a Red must have earned not less than 5000 points a year. The higher your tier, the more benefits you receive for every dollar you spend. You can view your membership tier online or through the app.
The answer to the question, “Can you scan the Chick-fil-A One App after you order?” is “No.” You can’t scan the code after you’ve made your purchase. However, you can request for your full credit by following the steps highlighted on the link one.chick-fil-a.com/forgot to scan.
